Hey, thank you for making your way over to my TES page. I’m sharing a range of different resources for a whole load of primary school ages. As I’m based in Scotland, there may be some resources that have a more Scottish side to them but otherwise everything will be suitable for use across the entire of the U.K. If you enjoy using any of my resources please share the, with me on Instagram or Twitter and leave a review. I’d love to know how you get on!

Minibeasts Home Learning Activity Grid

(0)
Fully editable home learning grid word document. This is a home learning grid which was originally created to support children throughout lockdown when looking at the topic of minibeasts. It covers a range of areas to support learning such as life cycles, habitats and the bodily features of each minibeast. This is not a stand alone teaching resource, but is very beneficial to go alongside teaching, to use as homework or distance activities. There is also a PDF format available if you are happy to use this resource as is.

This powerpoint is a quiz for your class. It allows them to investigate the different features of minibeasts and then try and figure out which category each minibeast fits into. I used this as a starter for my class before they went into a teamwork activity to sort their minibeasts and then peer mark whether they think it’s right. This powerpoint is fully editable so you can use it with other age groups or add/remove features as appropriate
